There are two ways to dispose of AmpCool, and all of our Dielectric Coolants, after they have exceed their operational service life of 10 years.
1) Currently in North America, and soon we'll have the same program in Europe, you can recycle all of your Engineered Fluids Dielectric Coolants by simply returning the used, uncontaminated dielectric coolant to Engineered Fluids and we will recycle your used coolant at no charge. Click details on the Engineered Fluids Recycling Program
2) In areas where its not feasible to return the used Dielectric Coolants to Engineered Fluids or if the used coolant has been contaminated, Engineered Fluids will work with the customer to identify a 3rd party recycler or disposal service for the used Coolant.
For dispose of smaller volumes of any Engineered Fluids Dielectric Coolants, they can be dropped off at any hydraulic oil or used motor oil recycling station. Engineered Fluids Dielectric Coolants are proprietary synthetic hydrocarbon chains and can be recycled using standard hydrocarbon recycling processes without special handling.
