There is no top-end temperature for cooling performance of AmpCool Coolants. Our maximum application temperature is based on flammability concerns. Engineered Fluids is extremely conservative in recommended safety margins for its fluids. As AC-110 has a flash point of ~190C, we recommend a top application temperature of 150-160C. Other AmpCool Coolants have higher flash points, and therefore higher application temperatures. AC-140, for example, has a flash point of almost 300C and transfers heat extremely efficiently.
