Mixing different dielectric fluids is not recommended, due to possible chemical incompatibilities. Engineered Fluids' products, for example, are each made to ensure material compatibility with the materials for the intended application. Other types of dielectric fluids, such as mineral oils, esters or silicone fluids will either lower the quality level of our products or will be incompatible with them altogether. We don't recommend mixing of dissimilar types of insulating fluids.
