Should we replace our Victaulic T type gaskets with type O?
The compatibility list has nitrile gaskets as recommended, but also states Victaulic type O. Is there a compelling reason to replace our Victaulic T (nitrile) gaskets with the O (fluoroelastomer) ones? We are using the Victaulic grooved couplings to connect the Grundfos CR pumps to the system's pipes, and are about to button it up and test for leaks. Obviously we would prefer to know now if there will be issues with the type T gaskets, instead of ordering order the liquid, filling the system, and then having to replace the gaskets.
Thank you.

Victaulic Type T gaskets, made from nitrile rubber, are recommended for use with hydrocarbon fluids such as BitCool BC-888. There's no need to change to Type "O" Gaskets made with fluoroelastomers.
