Would a galvanized stock tank work? I would make a lid. What kind of issues might I encounter?

Galvanized stock tanks can be used as immersion tanks. Be sure that the galvanized coating has been applied well and doesn't blister or flake off the steel layer. We recommend examining the inside surface and scrubbing any suspect spots well before use.
