how many gallons do I need for a dissembled S9 hashboards?
Hello,
I was trying to apply the equation of dimensions multiped by 90%. Didn't get reasonable numbers. I might be doing it wrong.
If an S9 requires roughly five gallons, how many gallons would I need for the three hash boards without submerging the PSU?
Thanks

You need to use 15-20 liters per miner, this includes the amount of fluid required for the pump and dry cooler in a typical system.

The amount of fluid you need to immerse the S9 Hash boards depends entirely on the volume of the tank in which you place them them. If you are going to be doing just the hash boards, then you can construct a tank that would only need 5mm clearance on all sides of the miner and a minimum of 2.5CM on the top and bottom assuming the flow enters on the bottom and exits out the top. Now you can calculate the volume for each hash board. Of course the pump, piping and dry cooler will require fluid as well and that will be very dependent on the size the pipe its distance, etc.
