Yes, Immersion Cooling extends the life of miners and any other electronics. With miners, specifically:
1. Removing or disconnecting the fans removes the most failure-prone components
2. Removing or disconnecting the fans removes the low-frequency vibration of the electronics. This vibration shortens the life of the miners.
3. Immersion cooling prevents "temperature excursions", or temperature swings from hot to cold. This variation in temperature is a huge killer of electronics components.
4. Immersion cooling prevents any airborne contaminants: dust, acids, moisture, which affects reliability and lifespan of electronics.
BitCool BC-888 has a service life in excess of 10 years. It doesn't boil, mist or vaporize, so it doesn't have to be replenished or "topped up". Our customers have immersed their miners for years in BitCool, with no problems whatsoever.
