In just about every instance, we recommend a single-loop radiator "dry cooler" system as the way to cool BitCool BC-888 Dielectric Coolant. Single-loop dry cooler systems work nearly everywhere in the world, and are simpler, more reliable and more efficient than double-loop system with a heat exchanger.
The choice of heat exchanger type in double-loop systems depends on several factors, including flowrate of both liquids, temperature difference between the liquids and pressure drop that can be tolerated. The system needs to be designed (engineered) based on parameters of your system - how many miners, fluid volumes, system temperatures, etc., which is beyond guidance that can be given here.
Contamination of BitCool BC-888 with water will lower its dielectric strength. In dry-cooler systems, this is so rare that online monitoring of system health is not necessary. For dual-loop systems, however, we recommend that real time monitoring of moisture content or dielectric strength be considered.
