Yes, but the flow rate required to cool a chip with a direct flow of Dielectric Coolant on a chip without a heat spreader is far higher that required when using a heat spreader. For those looking to save space in the tank, we recommend replacing the standard air-cooled heat spreader with a heat spreader specifically designed for using in liquids, they have far less laminar flow and the induced turbulence increases the heat transfer.
