Engineered Fluids' dielectric coolants last over 10 years in application. Biodegradation requires a the presence of light, moisture, heat and a specially grown bacteria that can use the sample under study as a source of carbon. Standardized laboratory biodegradation tests supply all of these at conditions that are ideal for the bacteria to grow. None of these conditions are available in application of our coolant products, and so, there is no degradation. We've had customers use our coolant products for over five years without any problems whatsoever.
