Engineered Fluids' dielectric coolants will last for years in their original containers if stored correctly. Ideally, regardless of the type of container, they should be stored indoors. This eliminates the possibility of contamination by dust, dirt or water. If storage indoors is not possible, then plastic containers (1000 liter totes or 20-liter containers) should be covered to prevent UV attack from sunlight and to prevent water from collecting around openings. Drums should be stored outdoors on their sides.
