You can use ElectroCool in a cold-plate or direct-to-chip (DTC) cooling arrangement instead of water-glycol. The viscosity of ElectroCool EC-110 is higher than that of water, so the flowrate will be lower than it would be if water were used. Factoring the difference in viscosity, in heat capacity and in thermal conductivity in, we expect that the thermal efficiency will be about 25% less than with water.
As you can see, our coolants work most efficiently when they're used with Single-phase Liquid Immersion Cooling (SLIC) technology.
