For batteries and related systems we recommend using AmpCool rather than ElectroCool. AmpCool's has been specifically formulated to be compatible with the materials used in batteries, electric motors, and electric motor controllers.
If you have a particular material compatibility concern, we recommend you review our for detailed materials information.
Generally speaking ElectroCool will likely be compatible with most battery sub-systems components, but we would recommend through testing with your application before production use.

For battery cooling, we recommend that you use a coolant from our AmpCool line, such as AC-100. AmpCool coolants are specifically made to be compatible with materials found in batteries and motors. That being said, we have done extensive compatibility testing with ElectroCool EC-120 and have not found any battery materials that would be incompatible.
