Yes, Engineered Fluids Dielectric Coolants can be used in both open and closed systems with no degradation in performance or characteristics.
Unlike mineral and vegetable oils based coolants, our Dielectric Coolants are will never gel-up in the presence of air, go rancid, evaporate or lose their dielectric strength due to water absorption.
BitCool, ElectroCool, AmpCool and VoltCool are all highly resistant to oxidation and polymerization and have been specifically formulated to remain stable over their entire temperature ranges in the presence of air. This means that all of our Dielectric Coolants can be use in systems that are unseal and/or have direct contact with air, even at highly elevated temperatures and high elevations, and they will remain clear and clean, with no smell or sticky film on surfaces.
In addition all of our Dielectric Coolants have a very low vapor pressure so they will not evaporate or boil during operation in either closed or open systems.
